Justin Bieber Justin Bieber has had multiple run-ins with the law. However, one event of note was when the Chinese government banned Justin from performing in China due to his previous bad behavior. The ban happened in 2017, though more recently, Justin received accusations on Twitter of sexual assault, of which he completely denies.
Mikaela Spielberg Being the daughter of one of the greatest movie directors of all time must be a difficult spotlight to be under. That spotlight only grew larger as Mikaela outed her x-rated career to her parents in February 2020. Now, being a porn star is not a crime, but domestic assault is. Officers arrived on the scene to find Mikaela’s boyfriend with a swollen wrist and dried blood. The altercation, according to the couple, came about due to an argument that turned physical. The police determined that Mikaela started it so held her on a $1,000 bond. Mikaela did likely have to phone home.
Tekashi 6ix9ine (Daniel Hernandez) Tekashi 6ix9ine has quite a collection of charges against him. The most recent legal trouble came from his alleged involvement with the Nine Trey Gangsters, a violent sect of the Bloods. He was due to be sentenced in January 2020 with a possible sentence of 47 years, though, after a plea deal, ended up getting a sentence of 2 years.
Jake Paul There couldn’t be a list of young celebs getting in to trouble with the law without Jake Paul appearing. A search warrant got served in May at Jake’s house in Calabasas, where a small army raided his property. Weapons got seized, but it’s not clear what the police were searching for.
Cole Sprouse Cole Sprouse of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody fame got arrested in June at a Black Lives Matter protest. The protests started peacefully, though as the day went on, and the group got smaller, looters appeared. Police asked Cole to leave, and as he was doing so, he got arrested along with around 400 others.
DaBaby (Jonathan Kirk) What were you doing on the opening days of 2020? Were you out, partying? Maybe you were spending time with your family? Well DaBaby, whos debut album peaked at number 7 on the US Billboard Hot 100 back in 2019, was arrested on January 2nd after he allegedly attacked a musical promoter for shortchanging him. DaBaby fled the scene before being arrested at his hotel because, apparently, celebrity criminals on the run only go as far as where they are staying. He did deny the incident, though, a warrant was out for him in Dallas for an altercation with a food stand employee at Dallas airport.
Liliana Barrios Another alleged celebrity arrest due to a couple fighting comes with Liliana Barrios of Black Ink Crew: Chicago fame. Liliana allegedly assaulted her girlfriend after finding her in bed with another woman, with Liliana then attacking with intent to harm. The event took place, along with the arrest after that in San Antonio, Texas.
Bryshere Gray A 911 call from a Circle K on a Sunday evening led to the arrest of Bryshere Gray from “Empire.” The call allegedly came from the 26 years old’s wife and led to Bryshere facing three domestic violence charges. His wife had suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Vic Mensa (Victor Kwasi Mensah) Rapper Vic Mensa made an unsafe turn on his motorbike, which led to him getting pulled over. Normally, this would result in a slap on the wrist, but upon a search, police found Vic Mensa to be in possession of brass knuckles. This traffic stop and further arrest happened in California, where brass knuckles are illegal.

Alex Stokes Two famous Youtube stars who are also brothers got arrested after a bank robbery video prank went wrong. The boys tried to catch an Uber after running out of a bank with bags of money. A bystander witnessed, what looked like a real robbery, and the police got called. The stunt could have been dangerous, though perhaps the boys found the over 1 million views reward enough to make it worth it.
YK Osiris (Osiris Jahkail Williams) Domestic assault appears to be a common occurrence when it comes to celebrity arrests, with the rapper YK Osiris being one such alleged perpetrator. The rapper got arrested after he choked and bit his girlfriend, who opted to remain anonymous. YK faced his preliminary hearing in November of 2019.
Blocboy JB (James Lee Baker) Blockboy JB was arrested last year in Memphis, Tennessee, on a felony charge for having a handgun, drug paraphernalia and drugs, and speeding. Police were investigating a drug complaint call. As the police arrived, Blockboy JB fled the scene, though stopped, which is where a gun was found in his car. Blocboy was already a convicted felon, so he was not allowed to own a firearm.
Kodak Black (Bill K. Kapri) The rapper Kodak Black faced similar charges as Blocboy JB. There was one felony charge for having a weapon and one misdemeanor for having marijuana. On the evening of a scheduled show at The House of Blues, fans angrily waited for Black’s appearance, to later learn that he had been arrested at the US/Canadian border.
Joey Gaydos After his part in the School of Rock, Joey Gaydos could not give up the rock’n’roll lifestyle after being arrested four times in five weeks for allegedly stealing guitars and amplifiers. Due to the amount accumulated from the theft, Joey got charged with grand theft and larceny.
YNW Melly (Jamell Maurice Demons) YNW Melly turned himself in, according to his Instagram, where he was then charged with two counts of first-degree murder. The charges related to a drive-by- shooting in December of 2018. While still serving his prison sentence in, YNW got diagnosed with Corona Virus.
21 Savage (Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph) The first non-American on this list is 21 Savage, and the fact he is not American is the reason he got in trouble with the law. 21 Savage overstayed his welcome in the States, to the point that his visa expired, way back in 2007. Despite many of his tracks exploring his childhood in Atlanta, 21 Savage hails from the UK.
Playboi Carti (Jordan Terrell Carter) Playboi Carti is another rapper found in possession of guns and drugs. Police pulled Carti over for expired tags on his car, which is where they found the firearms and drugs. His stint in jail was short, as he was released on bond the next day.
Offset (Kiari Kendrell Cephus) The Migos rapper and father of a baby girl with Cardi B was arrested back in July of 2018. Police initially pulled over Offset for an incorrect lane change. It was here that police found three weapons and a small amount of marijuana. Altogether, it added up to four charges.
Britni Thornton MTV reality TV star Britni Thornton is another celeb arrest that came from dangerous driving. Britni was charged for failing to stay in lane, along with driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Hopper Penn Hopper Penn, son of actor Sean Penn and actor himself, was arrested in 2018 for being in possession of 1 ounce or less of marijuana along with having psilocybin as well. Hopper’s girlfriend was also arrested on similar charges.
